ParticipantI have always enjoy helping my students find a solution to concerns that they bring to me. I do feel that I can become more focused on helping my students find their long solution, rather than a quick solution to their concerns. I can improve my practice by helping students find other ways to contact me for students who may not be willing or want to talk.

ParticipantIt is very valuable to me within my school practice to slow down and improve how I respond to my students. I find myself looking for a quick solution to help my students. Still, with motivational interviewing, I will allow myself to slow down and become more intentional about changing my responds to focus on my students’ values and future.
